Just make sure your target audience is on the social media sites you use. Once you have identified the right platforms to get on, it’s important that you regularly post interesting content that will receive likes and shares.

It’s just as important to like and share other people’s content. By doing so, you can engage with people and widen your network.

Make sure you’re friendly and approachable, too. That will help you to connect with people better and enhance the quality of your contacts.

Even though it’s easy to meet new people online who can help you to expand your sphere of influence and improve the quality of your circle, you can find more quality connections by going about things the old-fashioned way: meeting people in person.

One of the simplest and best ways of doing that is to attend networking events like business conferences.

And don’t limit yourself to groups that pertain to your industry. It can be just as useful to meet professionals like lawyers and accountants that could help you with your business goals. So, consider joining groups like your local chamber of commerce or trade association.

By getting involved with the wider local business community, you can rapidly enhance your sphere of influence.

 

Talk to New People You Meet

 

One of the simplest ways of gaining more connections and improving the quality of your circle is to simply be on the ball every time you meet somebody new.

Keeping in touch with all your contacts regularly is important if you want your sphere of influence to be successful.

So, make sure you keep a list of email addresses and send regular communications, such as a monthly or quarterly email newsletter about your business updates.
